Two Rivers Public Charter School
At Two Rivers, students solve problems through projects we call expeditions, and field studies are a core component of our problem-based expeditions. Field studies take students outside the classroom and into the world to directly engage with their topics and conduct hands-on research to solve some of our world’s biggest problems. The connections made through immersion cannot be replicated with any other form of study. Through expeditions, students have the opportunity to experience rather than imagine.
The video depicts Two Rivers 1st grade students describing one of their expeditions where they created a business and raised money to buy books for kids who need them. The video concludes with a call to action to join Two Rivers.
